Ocean Purple

OK, So it has been a while since I've posted.... I can't complain about being busy! What does everyone have planned for Valentine's day, I have no plans yet :( ? Also, my birthday is right around the corner and have been wondering what I should do. I'm sure I'll think of something fabulous and of course flowers will be involved!

I loved the beach, and had such a wonderful time working on this wedding. I'm so happy to be able to share these pictures with you. Thank you to Aaron Dieppa for capturing the flowers in such a magical way! www.aarondieppa.com

Flower of the day

Plum Dahlia
Happy Thursday to all my Brides and Grooms!

I had an awful time on my drive from Long Beach back to Orange County last night, very scary!! Please be safe as you travel in this weather.
On a lighter note, if you haven't tried Charlie Palmer at South Coast Plaza it's a must. They have delicious, creative dishes and hand crafted cocktails...... So Delish!!!

During a recent trip to L.A., I saw the most breathtaking shade of plum dahlia. The saturation of color and texture was so luxurious. I cannot wait to use these in an upcoming wedding.

Flower of the Day

It's Raining! I love the rain but I'm glad that it is happening during the week and not on the weekend when I have events.

Inspired by my post yesterday and a meeting with a new client, I have decided to start a flower of the day.

Cymbidium orchids are a luxurious way to add texture and interest to any floral scheme. Even if you are working with the tightest budget, adding small touches of these exotic flowers to your flowers will not break the bank.

These beautiful orchids come in a large variety of colors to mach any color scheme. Yellow is one of my favorite colors, I had to choose this to be my first flower of the day.

Enjoy, and lets see what tomorrow brings!

Crisp; Lime and Green

Happy Sunday!! I am so excited about all the wedding's this year.

One of my favorite things after a wedding is receiving the pictures. I would like to thank Mark Brooke Photography for capturing my work is such a beautiful way. I loved this color combination and it truly made for a unique, beautiful wedding.

I loved the way the natural wrap coordinated so well with the colors of the flowers.
BUBBLES!!
One of may favorite Boutonnieres I have done.

By reusing the alter pieces for the sweatheart table add's to the "WOW" factor.

Lavender Garden

This bouquet smelled so good, I love Gardenia's!
I used a combinations of textures and colors to create these bridesmaids bouquets

Purple!
A simple fabric treatment and lush flowers created a whimsical arch for the bride and groom to say their vows under.
If you have a smaller budget this design will give you the "wow factor" for a lower price.

Ivory and Green

One of my favorite weddings.
Three different flowers along with accents were used to create this beautiful bouquet.

CJS signature wrap is born.
Calla's and green hypericum berries create and beautiful and long lasting bouquet.
Simple but beautiful!
One of my favorite shots.
Thank you to Narrative Images Photography for all the pictures.
